Equipment dropped onto tarmac creates dead zones, trip hazards and surfacing that doesn't match the fall height. We design the whole environment — zoning, circulation, hardscape, softscape and shade — so it works as one place.

Surfacing & equipment are one system.
EPDM thickness must be coordinated with each item's critical fall height. Buy them from separate suppliers and the safety gap is yours to discover. We design and build both — so the protection is always correct.

Every Moon Kids outdoor space is designed and built to BS EN 1176, the primary European and British safety standard for public playground equipment, and BS EN 1177 for impact-absorbing surfacing. Equipment is TÜV-rated and surfacing is specified to the correct critical fall height for each piece of equipment.
EPDM is a coloured, poured-in-place rubber safety surface. Its thickness is engineered to the critical fall height of the equipment above it — taller equipment needs thicker surfacing to absorb impact. Because we design the equipment and the surfacing together, the fall protection is always correct, eliminating the safety gap that occurs when these are bought from separate suppliers.
Yes. We specify materials engineered for the Gulf — UV-stable HDPE and HPL panels, hot-dip galvanised steel, and kiln-dried timber treated against termites and rot. Designs integrate shade structures and heat-considered surfacing so spaces stay usable through UAE summers.
Yes — inclusive play is core to what we do. We design for wheelchair access, sensory play for children with sight or sensory needs, and sound-based equipment, so that every child in a space can play. This depth of SEN expertise is something general outdoor contractors rarely offer.

A MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) is an enclosed hard-surface sports pitch supporting several sports — such as football, basketball and netball — within one fenced area.
