A regional hospital commissioned MoonKids to redesign their paediatric playroom into a **calming, hygienic, and low‑noise environment** that still felt joyful.

### Design focus
– Soft corners and wipe‑clean surfaces
– Zoning for quiet play, creative activities, and family seating
– Visual connection to the corridor while maintaining privacy

### Our solution
We introduced built‑in bench seating with storage, wall‑mounted play panels, magnetic art walls, and low book displays. Colours were chosen from a **softer end of the MoonKids palette**, reducing visual clutter while keeping the room warm and inviting.

– Nursing staff observed reduced anxiety in children waiting for procedures
– The playroom is now used in hospital marketing materials and tours
– Facilities management praised the ease of cleaning and durability of finishes.
